Coprinus comatus also known as crested tintling, asparagus mushroom (due to the asparagus-like aroma), porcelain tinting or ink mushroom is native to the entire northern hemisphere. Since the Coprinus comatus contains numerous nutrients, it is a very popular medicinal mushroom. Among other things, it contains 20 free amino acids, including the 8 essential amino acids isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, penylalanine, theronine, tryptophan and valine, which the body cannot produce itself. Other ingredients include nutrients and minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc as well as enzymes and vitamins. The B vitamins are particularly worth mentioning here, because the content of vitamins B1, B2 and B3 is extremely high. Also interesting is the high protein content of the mushroom, which makes up 30% of its dry mass.
