Even if SAMe was discovered in 1952, its importance for the adrenaline, serotonin and histamine metabolism has only been known for a few years. The abbreviation SAMe stands for S-adenosyl-L-methionine, a substance that plays a central role in the metabolism of the amino acid methionine. L-methionine is an essential amino acid, i.e. an amino acid that the body cannot produce itself, but has to ingest through food.

SAMe arises from a reaction with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and is important for numerous detoxification processes in the body and for the enzyme metabolism. As a methyl group donor, SAMe influences the adrenaline, serotonin and histamine metabolism and is also required for the processing of fats, the so-called lipid metabolism, and as a neurotransmitter.

Consume 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid. Best with a main meal.

Do not take when you have manic depressive disorders (bipolar disorders).
