Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is one of the most versatile and best-selling medicinal mushrooms and is also called the mushroom of immortality in China. The mushroom known to us as Shiny Lacquer Porling has been an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine for over 4000 years. The reason for this is certainly the high number of valuable ingredients, which include polysaccharides, vitamins, minerals and other secondary ingredients. The range of applications for the popular medicinal mushroom is correspondingly broad.
