Maitake Extract 500 mg 100 Capsules Vegetarian/Vegan
Reason for a joy dance - Maitake extract.
The Grifolia frondosa is also known to us mainly under its Japanese name Maitake, which means something like "dance mushroom" or "dancing mushroom". The reason for the naming is supposedly that the finders often performed a joy dance when they found the rare mushroom. Maitake has been used in Japan and China since 3000 BC. It is consumed as a mushroom and part of traditional Chinese medicine.
At 50% to 60%, the maitake has an extremely high proportion of polysaccharide, which is particularly valued for its antioxidant power. It also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and D as well as the trace elements iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. But also interesting are the beta-D-glucans, which are present in the maitake extract in a particularly pure and bioactive form. The Maitake is also valued for its strengthening function on the immune system. The vitamin D precursor ergosterin also contained in Maitake can support the incorporation of calcium into the bones.
From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the maitake is related to the functional groups spleen, bladder and kidney. It also has an immunomodulating effect.
For our Maitake extract, the soluble parts are removed from the mushroom powder and then evaporated, so that a concentrate remains that contains the therapeutically important secondary ingredients in the best possible availability.
